Bot detection startup Spur raises $200M from Insight Partners
Spur Intelligence, a cybersecurity startup based in Lake Mary, Florida, has raised $200 million in a funding round led by Insight Partners. Founded in 2017 by two former Defense Department engineers, Spur helps enterprises distinguish human users from sophisticated bot traffic. The investment comes as bots now outnumber human internet activity for the first time, according to Cloudflare.
