This document provides a final architectural and code review of the `src` directory, as requested by the project master plan. The review is conducted from the perspective of a senior Python software architect.
## Overall Assessment
The codebase is well-structured, clean, and strictly adheres to the principles laid out in `ARCHITECTURE.md` and `GEMINI.md`. The Test-Driven Development (TDD) approach has resulted in a high-quality, modular, and testable application foundation. The code is clean, readable, and well-documented.
The following is a file-by-file review with minor observations and recommendations for future development.
## File-by-File Review
### `src/prompt_structure.py`
* **Status:** Excellent.
* **Observations:** The use of `pydantic` for the `VeoPrompt` data model is a great choice. It provides automatic validation and clear data structure definition.
* **Recommendations:** None at this stage.
### `src/knowledge_base.py`
* **Status:** Good.
* **Observations:** The singleton pattern is correctly implemented. The `_specs` dictionary is hard-coded.

* For future enhancement, consider loading the `_specs` from an external configuration file (e.g., a YAML or JSON file). This would make the knowledge base more flexible and easier to update without changing the code. The `__new__` method already contains a comment indicating this.

* **Observations:** The `analyze_request` method currently returns a simple dictionary with the raw text. This is as per the plan for the initial scaffolding.
* **Recommendations:**
* This module will be the most complex to implement fully. When implementing the real logic, consider using a proper NLP library (like spaCy or NLTK) for more robust entity and intent extraction from the user input.
### `src/character_builder.py`
* **Status:** Placeholder.
* **Observations:** The `create_character` method has a very basic placeholder implementation.
* **Recommendations:**
* The plan mentions a "15+ attribute template" for characters. The future implementation should focus on building a flexible system to populate this template from the high-level description provided.
### `src/generation_engine.py`
* **Status:** Placeholder.
* **Observations:** The `generate_prompt` method currently returns a generic `VeoPrompt`. It correctly uses the `KnowledgeBase` for one of its fields.
* **Recommendations:**
* The core logic of the application will reside here. The implementation should focus on intelligently combining the output from the `AnalysisEngine` and `CharacterBuilder` to populate the fields of the `VeoPrompt` object.
### `src/quality_validator.py`
* **Status:** Placeholder.
* **Observations:** The `validate_and_finalize` method includes a basic validation rule (checking for an empty subject) and adds a hard-coded negative prompt.
* **Recommendations:**
* Expand the validation logic to include more rules (e.g., checking length of other fields, ensuring style keywords are from a supported list).
* The generation of the `negative_prompt` could be made more dynamic based on the content of the prompt itself.
### `src/main.py`
* **Status:** Excellent.
* **Observations:** The `CoreOrchestrator` correctly initializes and wires together all the components of the application. The `process_request` method clearly shows the data flow through the different layers of the framework.
* **Recommendations:** None. The orchestration logic is sound.
## Final Conclusion
The project is in an excellent state. The architecture is robust, the code is clean, and the TDD process has ensured a solid foundation. The project is ready for the next phase, which would involve replacing the placeholder logic in the various components with a full implementation. No significant deviations from the project's standards or principles were found.
