About RenameClick

RenameClick is an offline AI file renamer for Mac and Windows that analyzes file content locally to generate clear, descriptive filenames. It supports a wide range of formats including images (JPG, PNG, HEIC, etc.), documents (PDF, DOCX, TXT, CSV, etc.), audio (MP3, WAV, FLAC, etc.), subtitles, calendar files, and contacts. The review-first workflow lets users approve suggested names and optional folder categorization before applying changes. Batch renaming works via drag-and-drop. An optional audio transcription module enables renaming spoken-word recordings by their transcript. Users can also search files by content or automate Downloads folder organization with watch-folder rules. The tool uses a built-in local AI model by default, with optional support for Ollama, LM Studio, OpenAI, Google AI, and Alibaba Cloud via API keys. A free tier provides 30 rename credits per month; Pro monthly ($8) and Lifetime ($48) plans remove limits.
