How Ditto works?
Users submit their preferences by Tuesday 11:59 PM. On Wednesday, Ditto sends one personalized match with photos and an explanation via iMessage. Both users then share availability, and Ditto arranges the date time, place, and tips.
What will I know about my match before the date?
You'll receive a poster with their photos and a short explanation of why you'd be a great pair. A scheduler then asks for your availability for the week.
What if I don't like my match/date?
You can tell Ditto the reason and give feedback. Ditto will arrange another date based on that feedback. You can also update your profile and preferences.
Who is participating?
Currently only college students who are 18 or older are participating.
What if I can't make it last minute?
Cancel by texting your match as soon as possible to prevent being banned from future experiences.
How long does it usually take?
For a recent upgrade, 70% of users get their first date within 2 days of signing up. Earlier estimates were 1-2 weeks for a guaranteed in-person coffee date.
What if I'm not getting Ditto's replies?
Try starting a new text thread with a new Ditto number. Your matches, preferences, and account details stay with Ditto, so switching numbers won't reset your profile.
