About Gaming Copilot on Windows Game Bar
Microsoft is testing a beta version of Gaming Copilot integrated into the Windows Game Bar. Available exclusively to Xbox Insiders on PC in the United States (age 18+), this AI assistant provides in-game help via a Voice Mode for spoken conversations and snapshot analysis — allowing users to take a screenshot of their screen for context-aware assistance. The widget, which appears on the Game Bar, can be pinned during gameplay. While Microsoft claims it understands which game you're playing, PCWorld's testing suggests its vision capabilities may still be limited compared to traditional online guides.
